This collection contains sketches based on historical reconstructions, nature, still life or travel. These sketches are done in soft grade pencil and are therefore sprayed with stabilizing agents to prevent smudging. The emphasis in each case has been to represent textures and materials, light and shade and motion using the black and white medium of pencil. |
